Welcome the Whales Parade and Festival

Welcome the Whales is an annual event to honor and celebrate the arrival of a special group of gray whales known as the Sounders. Each spring they arrive in North Puget Sound to feed on ghost shrimp.
The festival includes costume making, a parade through Langley, WA, waterside ceremony, educational presentation by Cascadia Research Collective, Langley beach clean-up, and fundraiser gray whale cruise. We hope to see you there! More info at https://www.orcanetwork.org/events/welcome-the-whales
