When painting landscapes, I draw inspiration from the atmospheric conditions and tonal nuances of the Pacific Northwest’s diverse scenery. I emphasize subtle colors to share my vision with viewers and enjoy exploring different compositions and textures in my work. On sunny, clear days, I often add atmospheric effects to my en plein air paintings for a moodier feel.
I am a member of the Whidbey Working Artist Studio Tour, whose mission is to share the arts and artists of Whidbey Island with the broader Pacific Northwest community.
