The natural world defines my art. A retired ecologist, I spent a career studying the northwest flora and fauna, and now they are the stars in my artwork. My style walks a thin line between stylized and realism with a bit of sparkle inspired by the sun. I want to make art that turns your head for a second look. I want my work to be unique while remaining true to the subject’s beauty, integrity, and importance on this earth.
